You’ll join an organisation built by people with lived experience of disability, ensuring that all decisions and processes are genuinely client-centered and quality-focused. Your role will include:
- Paediatric and mixed caseload – the majority of your case load will be aged under 15 years. You may see some adult clients too.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the individual's language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy and group therapy sessions tailored to children's needs.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and meaningful interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with NDIS and professional standards.
- NDIS report writing. About you: To launch successfully into this role, you’ll have:
- 1-2+ years of paediatric speech therapy practice experience, including working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS
- A personal desire to work a paediatric cohort
- Current SPA registration and skilled indemnity insurance
- Current driver’s license and your own transport
