Commercial Analyst - Gpc Asia Pacific - Rowville

A rare opportunity has arisen to appoint a **Commercial Analyst**to join our commercial finance team in our national support office in Rowville. You will be responsible for commercial reporting and insights for the team. To be successful in the role, you will identify opportunities for financial improvement and assist key stakeholders with reporting to ensure business initiatives are delivering the expected financial outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Commercial support for the Merchandise business units.
- Complete month-end reporting and provide meaningful insights into the financial performance.
- Preparation of monthly commercial reports as required by the business, including Sales and Profit performance, key performance indicator reporting.
- Management of product import costing program.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets for the business units.
- Support the business with ad hoc financial and commercial analysis and reports as required.
- Work collaboratively to formulate financial models feeding into the strategic growth initiatives.
- Make business improvement recommendations to the relevant business leads by providing analytical support for those recommendations.

- Able to demonstrate a successful background in developing, building, and maintaining a range of working relationships at all organisational levels.
- Ability to make sound business decisions and resolve problems and able to provide predictive business forecast based on historical data and trends.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to see what is behind the numbers and what they mean as opposed to just reporting them.
- Robust written and spoken communication skills.
- A “can do” approach at all times.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in all work performed.
- Financial accounting experience
- CPA / CA highly regarded.
