**The role and you**: Playing an integral part in the coordination of category related collateral, this fast-paced role reports directly to a Merchandise Manager, and ensures that category/merchandise plans are rolled out to schedule.

You’ll know you’re the right person for the role if you have a resilient, tenacious personality, you thrive in a fast-paced role, and you love the challenge of meeting defined deadlines. Able to work with set objective and set information, and yet still be able to find a way around information that may sometimes seem ambiguous, you’ll rely on your problem-solving skills, asking questions along the way.

**Duties include**:

- Meet business objectives in relation to category plans
- Assists in ensuring catalogue deadlines are met
- New product research
- Data analysis and review
- Report preparation and presentation
- General administration support related to the role and category
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship building

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Category, merchandise or buying exposure, or a passion for developing a career in this area
- Retail or FMCG experience desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop solid stakeholder relationships
- Well-developed excel skills, and good experience in all other Microsoft packages
- A love of data and ability to analyse information
- A keen eye for detail, and strong sense of logic
- Administrative prowess
- A natural ability to be organised
