- Opportunities to learn and grow within the health industry About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time/Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team. Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Greeting patients with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Handling patient queries and requests, both in-person and over the phone
- Assisting with billing, invoicing and other administrative duties
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Supporting the allied health practitioners with any other tasks as required
- Assisting the Director and Practice Manager with administrative tasks
- Using your time management and multitasking skills to ensure smooth clinic operations What We're Looking For Whether you're an experienced receptionist or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you! Here's what we value: Must-Haves:
- 1+ year of experience in allied health medical administration is required for this role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
- Qualified phone and interpersonal communication skills
- A proactive mindset with excellent organizational abilities Nice-to-Haves (but not essential):
- Previous experience working within an Allied Health/Physiotherapy setting
- Familiarity with the health industry
- Experience using Practice Management software (e.g. Nookal, Cliniko Optomate)
- Comfort with Google Suite and Apple operating systems
- Sound working knowledge with POS systems ie HICAPS. Who You Are:
- A quick thinker with a positive attitude
- A team player who takes pride in your work
- Professional, well-presented, and motivated Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $24.95 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 38 per week Ability to commute/relocate:
- Balmain NSW 2041: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience:
