The Cottage Balmain is a heritage-style restaurant and bar housed in one of Darling Street’s most charming sandstone cottages. With leafy courtyards, warm timber interiors, and a lively neighbourhood atmosphere, we’re a place where guests gather for excellent food, genuine hospitality, and beautiful drinks — from a crisp Hugo Spritz to a classic Negroni.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Cocktail Bartender to join our front-of-house team. You’ll be crafting cocktails with care, delivering genuine service, and helping create the warm, welcoming energy The Cottage is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of classic and signature cocktails to a high standard.

Provide warm, professional service to guests at the bar and tables.

Maintain bar setup, stock levels, and cleanliness throughout service.

Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails and drink specials.

Support the broader FOH team with drinks service, batching, and prep.

Uphold RSA compliance and ensure responsible service at all times.

About You

Confident cocktail knowledge and practical bar experience.

Passionate about hospitality, presentation, and guest experience.

Positive, team-focused attitude and attention to detail.

Available for evenings and weekends.

Current NSW RSA essential.
