In this role, you'll: Working as part of a team which safeguards the safety, reliability, and value of Maritime Assets by providing robust Line 1 technical assurance, ensuring maintenance activities consistently meet strategic plans, standards, and compliance obligations across the maritime network. You will provide specialist technical expertise for the preventative and corrective maintenance of assigned Maritime assets, including diagnosing defects, defining maintenance requirements, and maintaining complex audio, visual, and passenger information systems. You will work closely with the Maritime Maintenance Delivery Team to ensure clear understanding of maintenance scope and schedules, and review vendor maintenance methodologies for compliance with standards, TMPs, and ASPs. You will maintain accurate and compliant Maritime asset documentation in coordination with Operational Asset Assurance and relevant TfNSW stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and currency with applicable standards, regulations, and legislation. About you You have demonstrated experience supporting the installation, maintenance and operation of complex technical systems, ideally within a maritime or similarly regulated asset environment, with a robust commitment to workplace safety and safe behaviours. You have a solid understanding of asset management principles and frameworks such as ISO 55000, and the ability to apply these in a practical maintenance and operational context. You bring experience in fault finding, interpreting technical documentation and drawings, and translating asset data into effective maintenance actions. Experience with asset management systems (e.g. SAP or similar) and maintenance planning processes will be highly regarded. You have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, port authorities and external partners to support maintenance delivery and compliance outcomes. You hold a relevant qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience), and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with a focus on detail and delivery.
