Technical Service Technician and Support (Lilyfield)

Macquarie Medical Systems is a Leichhardt based medical supplier with a growing national coverage. A division of Macquarie Health Corporation, a Private Group that has successfully operated largely in NSW within the Health arena for the past 35 years. Major interests include Private Hospitals located in NSW and Victoria, Internet and Web-based Health platforms as well as biomedical devices, property & commercial interests.

We are seeking a Warehousing and Technical Service Support person for our team at our Inner City-based head office.

In this position, you will be required to:

- Assist with the servicing, repairs and testing of medical devices
- Pick and pack orders for customers, and manage deliveries
- Opportunity to expand role into medical device assembly and testing
- Assisting with the management of inventory and logistics services
- Support the business where special circumstance arises

Naturally, you will:

- Be a self starter who can demonstrate initiative, prioritise your work load and manage the demands of a small team;
- Be goal orientated and result focused with a "can do" attitude;
- Have strong communication skills in developing rapport with internal and external stakeholders;
- Have some experience with computer repair/soldering and possible medical device repairs.

This position may occasionally require travel across Sydney and sometimes across Australia to assist with conference and system setups. You will only be required to use your own car for Sydney based travel. A travel allowance is payable when this occurs.

Pay: $70,000.00
