**Position**: Permanent Part-time, Monday to Friday **Location**: Sydney's Inner West **Salary**: $29.81
- $34.76 per hour + 99c per km + travel time + Salary Packaging

**Requirements**:A Comprehensively Insured Car and a Current Licence to Drive

**What you’ll be doing in this role**

As a Uniting Home Care Worker, you will help us ensure continuity of care for our clients as you provide practical support and companionship for older people living in **Sydney's Inner West area.** You will empower independence and improve the quality of life for our clients in their own homes.

**With a focus on supporting our clients to stay independent for as long as possible, duties and responsibilities may include**:

- **Help at home**: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- **Transport for wellbeing**: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
- **Personal Care**: Support with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in aged or community care preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
- Empathetic and resourceful, embodying Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
- Flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients.
- A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
