**Construction Manager**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- You will review and advise on construction documentation and plans during project definition stage
- Implementing and ensuring compliance to Linde safety construction systems, will be part of your role
- Also, you will evaluate and review contractor construction documentation
- Further, you will solve problems and implement solutions regarding construction and engineering deficiencies
- As well as ensuring compliance to projects scope costs, schedule and construction plans & strategies
- Moreover, you will ensure compliance to construction contracts and implement relevant workings of contracts including change management
- Additionally, you will report construction progress and where required advise on plans to rectify any deviations

- You have the ability to manage and influence project across functional teams
- Qualified knowledge of construction methods and plans is required for this role
- Also, you need to possess professional knowledge of P&ID;’s, process safety, civil & structural, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and design, Instrumentation, Process Control, construction safety
- Knowledge and regulatory requirements of hazardous areas, Pressure Vessels, Piping, Planning Permits, AS/NZS standards is needed for this role
- As well as IT knowledge and use of project-related software and tools
- Furthermore, you need to have a minimum of 10 years of project construction experience in Industrial gas, process industry or petrochemical plants
- A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent construction management qualification is also required
