Architect (Gladesville)

About the role We are seeking an experienced Architect / Building Designer to join our team on a contract basis in our Gladesville office in NSW for our forthcoming coming major expansion of a current Club As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our upcoming construction projects, contributing your expertise to the successful delivery of our clients' visions. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing Liaise with council and consultants
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and develop innovative design solutions.Be experienced in DA/CC process and liaison with council etc
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to guide the construction process
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project timelines and budgets to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Liaise with construction teams, engineers, all consultants and other stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of designs
- Provide expert advice and guidance throughout the construction phase to address any issues or changes What we're looking for
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience as an Architect, preferably in the Club industry
- Excellent technical skills in architectural design, drafting, and project management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex design challenges
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with clients and project teams
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles
