ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to acquired additional work, we’re seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Telecommunications Procurement and Logistics team based in our North Ryde, NSW office. You will be responsible for:
The coordination and communication of the transportation of materials between supply chain, project managers and customers
Participating in weekly forecast reviews with the project team to ensure material is available to complete upcoming work
Processing material requisition requests in line with project requirements
Monitoring excess stock held by subcontractors and coordinating its return
Liaising with Downer's Inventory team and warehouse staff to ensure all stock is made available as per business requirements and in line with Service Agreements
ABOUT YOU
Previous worked in a customer service & data entry workplace with experience in stock management, transportation planning or sales operations
Proven industry work experience in Operations, Telecommunications & Logistics
Advanced knowledge of Office suite with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Experience coordinating activities between project and supply chain teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualification in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management highly regarded, however not essential
