Design Manager North Ryde

We currently have an opportunity for a Design Manager to join our team. This position is key members of the New Energy team, responsible to manage the Engineering and Design inputs as part of the business units projects that are in the development and design phase.

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you will ensure that design requirements are identified, services are procured (internal and external) and to provide industry leading delivery of design and design management to the highest standards across the Infrastructure Projects division.

What you’ll bring

Electrical or other relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering.

Chartered Skilled Engineer (CPEng) preferable.

A proven track record of Design Management on Design and Construct Contracts, specifically structured design phases.

Strong background as a Design or Senior Engineering Manager for a major construction business or a similar role.

Demonstrated understanding of building technology and construction methodologies as an essential element of building design.Solid Environmentally Sustainable Design and Innovation and Technology credentials including an understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
