Building Construction Supervisor Building Associate Gladesville

Tyrrells have specialised in the renovation and restoration of monuments, plaques, crypts & vaults in cemeteries throughout Sydney and New South Wales for over 85 years. We are currently recruiting a skilled Building Construction Supervisor to join our team

Duties & Responsibilities

· Direct, plan and coordinate activities, oversee scheduling, organising and implementation of monuments, plaques, crypts & vaults in cemeteries throughout Sydney.

· Oversee the planning, execution and completion of monuments, plaques, crypts & vaults construction projects

· Supervises construction sites and organises and coordinates the material and human resources.

· Interpreting plans, working drawings and specifications. Revise and edit as required, interpret regulations and codes of practice

· Co-ordinates work programmes

· Calculates costs and estimates time scales

· Coordinate and manage trades, suppliers, and contractors to meet deadlines

· Determine labour requirements, materials planning and logistics

· Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards

· Ensure all projects comply with building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations

· Conduct site inspections, problem-solve issues, and maintain high-quality control

· Maintain solid communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams

· Ensure budget and timelines are met while maintaining construction efficiency

· Handle in office troubleshooting and issue resolution to keep projects on track

Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma level or higher qualifications or extensive practical experience work experience in a similar role

· knowledge of the methods, materials and tools required for construction projects

· Ability to interpret technical plans, blueprints and drawings.

· Knowledge of public safety and security policies, procedures and strategies.

· Solid Communication, organisations and problem-solving skills

· Attention to Detail, critical thinking and math skills

· Excellent Leadership Skills

· Excellent Communication skills

Pay: From $79,499.00 per year
