Café Supervisor (Sorrento)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Barista & Café Supervisor to join our team. This dual role combines hands-on coffee making and customer service with leadership and management responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Barista Duties**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and café floor.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and other supplies, reporting when reordering is needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

**Supervisor Duties**:

- Oversee daily café operations, ensuring excellent service and smooth workflow.
- Train, mentor, and supervise café staff, including baristas and floor team.
- Handle cash management, EFTPOS balancing, and daily reconciliations.
- Manage stock ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory control.
- Monitor performance and implement procedures to improve service and efficiency.
- Address and resolve customer feedback and concerns professionally.
- Uphold café standards, policies, and compliance requirements.

- Proven experience in a leadership role in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Passion for customer service and creating a positive café culture.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a barista and in a café leadership position Is preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- RSA certificate

Pay: From 55-60,000.00 per year
