Rye Preschool is located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula on Boon Wurrung country in Rye. The Preschool was established in 1959 and is a respected part of the Rye community.Our kindergarten is nestled close to the beach and local businesses as well as schools, bowling, playgrounds and national parks. Our kindergarten is run by a volunteer committee of management. In 2025 there will be 2 x 4 year old groups and 1 x 3 year old group. Our Preschool offers a unique sessional program is facilitated by passionate Educators. Our 4 year old groups participate in a beach/nature program weekly. We foster and value connections with children and families and the community around us. Rye Preschool consistently is rated exceeding in all 7 quality areas. **Description**

- School Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic Diploma/Cert 111 Qualified Educator to join our amazing team. The successful applicant will be required to assist with the delivery of a developmentally appropriate and engaging program for kindergarten children. Work under the direction of the Early Childhood Teacher and to be an active member of our team, working collaboratively to create and maintain a stimulating and child safe learning setting. The ability to engage with children in a warm, welcoming, and inclusive manner is a necessity. This role is a part-time position working 16 hours per week beginning in Term 1 2025. This role has the potential to attract relief work within the centre should this become available. Staff are welcomed to a paid 1 hour staff meeting per month. **Rostered Days**: Tuesdays, Thursdays TUESDAY
- 8.00 to 5.00pm
- 4-year-old group (8 hours) THURSDAY
- 8.00 to 5.00pm
- 4-year-old group (8 Hours) *1 hour unpaid lunch break.

**Qualifications**

Completed a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children's Services. Or hold a Diploma in Children's Services.

**Additional Requirements**

Completed mandatory reporting.
