Dental Receptionist (Sorrento)

About the role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team at the Sorrento Dental Clinic in Sorrento, WA 6020. This is a part-time position, two days per week, that offers a flexible and rewarding work environment. As our Dental Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff. What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and qualified manner
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Assisting with insurance claims and billing processes
- Providing general administrative support to the dental team
- Ensuring the reception area is well-organized and maintained What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist.
- Starting hours: 2 days per week. Tuesday and Thursday 8am
- 5pm (with flexibility on discussion. Clear opportunity for additional hours in the future)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficient in using some dental practice management software (we use Carestream PracticeWorks but additional training will be provided).
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable. Applicants with experience as a dental assistant who are looking to expand their skills to the front desk are welcomed.
