People with **no experience** are **encouraged to apply** for these vacancies, however a **career pathway**/ training program maybe required to complete prior to being put forward for the positions.

All training programs include first aid, CPR, training in Manual Handling and work placement. (Please note that these certificates and placement are not offered individually, only as part of a program)

To be considered for the role you **must have** or **be** **willing to obtain** the following:

- Certificate III in Individual Support
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Transparent and current National Police Check
- A full drivers license
- A vehicle with insurance

As a Home Care Support Worker, your role will include but is certainly not limited to the following:

- supporting individual participation in social and recreational activities
- undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, visiting friends and family
- light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- providing companionship and emotional support
- transportation
