OdysseyCare Solutions is looking for support workers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with complex needs.

We currently have an ongoing support worker chance

Location: St Albans Day/Time: Every Friday, 12:00pm
- 5:00pm (ongoing)

Additional: Potential Saturday shift once a fortnight

About the Role: We are looking for a support worker who is confident and proactive in their role and able to provide well-rounded support within the home environment.

The role will include:

- Assisting with online learning tasks (basic IT skills required)
- Supporting with household tasks and general home assistance
- Meal preparation
- Providing practical support, including bending/lifting when required

Key Requirements: ✔ Confident and experienced support worker ✔ Basic IT skills (comfortable supporting online learning) ✔ Good physical capacity (able to assist with lifting and movement tasks) ✔ Comfortable around dogs (there is a family dog who is an important part of the home) ✔ Strong English communication skillsWe are really looking for someone who is reliable, engaging, and able to build a positive connection with the client and their family.

✔ Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are required.

✔ Previous experience supporting complex participants (highly regarded).

✔ A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.

✔ A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

✔ A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

✔ Ability to work independently and within a team.

✔ Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $40.00
- $45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
