Part-Time Delivery Driver (Sunshine North)

About us Pickleslut™ is an Australian acid-forward food brand. We make pickles, kraut, mustard and spices under our ACIDE™ label and supply some of Melbourne's best cafes, restaurants, bottle shops, delis and providores. We're growing fast, we take our craft seriously, and we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're hiring a part-time driver to run our wholesale delivery routes three days a week. You'll be the face of the brand to every venue you drop into — so being positive with people is as important as being good behind the wheel. What you'll do
- Arrive at the factory at 07:30, do a quick vehicle check, and head out with a van that's already pre-packed the night before.
- Run a consolidated delivery route across Melbourne — wholesale accounts (cafes, restaurants, bottle shops, delis) and the occasional drop to logistics partners.
- Park, deliver, smile, leave the venue happier than you found it.
- Return to base, debrief any issues, and finish on the floor at 15:30.
- During quieter stretches: help with labelling, route planning, and general logistics improvements alongside our logistics lead. What we need from you Non-negotiables
- Clean driver's licence — full, current, Australian.
- Confident with both manual and automatic vans.
- Proven experience parking and manoeuvring vans in the Melbourne CBD — laneways, loading zones, the lot. This is not a learn-on-the-job skill for us.
- Minimum 2+ years of van driving experience in Melbourne CBD — demonstrable expertise in navigating complex urban delivery environments.
- Physically fit — you'll be lifting and shifting cases all day.
- Ability to lift 20kg regularly — consistent physical capability to handle delivery loads throughout the working day.
- Genuinely pleasant — you're the face of Pickleslut™ every time you walk through a customer's back door.
- Reliable, punctual, organised. Bonuses (nice to have, not deal-breakers)
- Forklift licence (LF).
- Previous food/beverage delivery experience.
- Familiarity with Melbourne's hospitality and retail venues. What we offer
