Execute Service Work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with Accelleron standard processes and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co‑operations with customer and other Accelleron teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for Accelleron. Responsibilities
- Field service work / Workshop repairs: attend site and perform field work – breakdowns, preventative maintenance, install and commissioning.
- Workshop tasks: dismantling, assembly, cleaning of parts and using precision equipment and machinery and applying safety and health rules considering the actual site conditions.
- Planning/Coordination: preparation and control of all material, equipment and documentation needed for site activities, organized in accordance with contractual and supplemental documentation.
- Repair: conduct detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and reports.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, recommend changes such as recent equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: prepare all technical and work reports to be signed by customer representative.
- Customer regulation: obtain required passes or attend classes for commencing of works. Qualifications
- Mechanical trade certificate plus 2 to 3 years’ experience working in turbochargers on marine vessels or as a mechanical fitter or diesel fitter.
- Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly in turbocharging service, is preferred.
- Familiarity with turbochargers and product service knowledge of various turbocharger types installed on two‑stroke or four‑stroke engines.
- Knowledge and skills in operating rotating machinery, such as balancing machines, lathes, and drills, and proficiency in using metrics and measuring tools.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred, but not mandatory.
- Prepared to undertake approximately 40% travel to sites for field service work. Benefits
