Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre team. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a nurturing and dynamic environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow.

**About the Role**

As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a passionate team of educators to create a welcoming, flexible, and safe environment for children. You will support the delivery of a rich and engaging educational program that reflects the interests and developmental needs of each child. The hours for the role are 8:00am
- 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Working under the guidance of qualified Early Childhood Teachers and the Director of the Early Learning Centre, your responsibilities will include:

- Engaging meaningfully with children and families
- Supporting the implementation of daily routines and learning experiences
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required
- Participating in staff meetings and professional learning opportunities

This is a full-time time, ongoing position, commencing 21 July 2025, with hours of work from 8-4pm.

**The successful applicant must**:

- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or a higher qualification.
- Have demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role desirable.
- Have a robust alignment with the values of the Reggio Emilia Educational Approach.
- Be highly motivated, committed to work collaboratively with others, demonstrating our School values of Dignity, Respect, Care and Compassion.
- Demonstrate an ability to build authentic, collaborative and respectful relationships.
- Have a strong community and service ethic and commitment to deliver exceptional service.
- Possess a positive outlook, exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Display a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Have a current Employee Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain.
- Hold current Mandatory Reporting, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
