Chef (St Kilda)

Chef $32.00 / hour + 12% Super
- Flexible Monday to Friday 7am
- 3pm or 6.30 am
- 2.30pm shifts

- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation THE PERSON
- A qualified Chef with Cert 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery
- Must have previous experience working in a cafe
- commercial environment and working in a fast paced busy environment
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
- All-rounder experience and able to cook Savoury & sweet desserts
- Able to have a valid working with children's check
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Must be able to work autonomously
