**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced** Baker **to join the Black Star Pastry team in our **St Kilda Production Kitchen, **located in the iconic Prince of Wales precinct.

**Roster**

Our shifts times are 5.30am-1.30pm. We ideally require availability from Sunday to Thursday, however we are all about work-life balance. We would love to get to know you and how we can make your roster work for you.

**About You**
- 2-3 year’s experience as a Baker, in particular viennoiserie & dough lamination
- Ideally experience working in a Production Kitchen
- Team players with a positive attitude.
- Passionate about customer experience and product quality.
- Commitment to food safety.
- Ability to deal with the repetitive nature of a high-volume, fast-paced production kitchen and maintain the highest quality and service standards.

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with stores across Sydney and Melbourne.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
