About the Role Mizaan Restaurant is looking for an experienced Arabic Cuisine Chef specialising in authentic Mandi and Middle Eastern cuisine to join our growing restaurant team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have strong experience preparing traditional Arabic rice dishes, charcoal-grilled meats, and authentic Middle Eastern flavours in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment. This is a full-time permanent role with long-term career opportunities. --- Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes including: Chicken Mandi Lamb Mandi Madfoon Madhbi Kabsa Charcoal grilled meats and kebabs Prepare marinades, spice blends, sauces, and traditional accompaniments Operate charcoal grills and commercial kitchen equipment safely Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and kitchen operations Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Monitor stock rotation and minimise wastage Work efficiently during busy service periods --- Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a Chef specialising in Arabic or Middle Eastern cuisine Strong experience with traditional Mandi preparation essential Exprience using charcoal grills preferred Knowledge of authentic Arabic spices and cooking techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen Strong organisational and teamwork skills --- Qualifications Applicants must have one of the following: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, OR Diploma of Hospitality Management, OR At least 3 years relevant full-time chef experience --- Additional Information Full-time ongoing role Weekend and evening availability required Immediate start available Supportive and growing restaurant setting Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year Benefits:
