- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role URGENT French Restaurant in St Kilda is on the hunt for his/her current SOUS-CHEF.
- Minimum 3 years experience as Sous-Chef or similar position.
- Experience in French cuisine is mandatory.
- Fluent in English
- Live locally or within 5km of St Kilda ~ Your different missions will be but not limited to:
• Planning and designing menus with the help of HeadChef
• Overseeing the food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes
• Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
• Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly
• Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards \ We are a small establishment with 34 seats inside + 16 outside. On a busy day, we get up to 60 covers. 38 on average. Service hours are:
• Wednesday & Thursday // Dinner only
