About the Role Northern Health is seeking a visionary medical leader to drive the next era of cancer care for one of Victoria’s fastest‑growing and most diverse communities. This is a rare opportunity to lead a major cancer program at scale, blending clinical leadership with strategic influence, academic growth, and system‑wide impact.

In this role, you will

Provide senior medical leadership across Oncology, Haematology, Palliative Care, ACP, VAD and Cancer Clinical Trials

Lead divisional strategy, service innovation and clinical governance

Grow academic capability, research output and clinical trial activity

Strengthen multidisciplinary care and integrated cancer pathways

Build a high‑performing, inclusive and values‑aligned workforce

Champion equity, access and culturally safe care

We’re looking for

AHPRA‑registered specialist (FRACP – Oncology, Haematology or Palliative Care)

Proven leadership in cancer services

Strong research track record and experience as a Principal Investigator

A strategic, collaborative and influential leader

A PhD and academic appointment at Level D/E are highly regarded.
