Finance Manager (Sale)

About the role We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing team at Inglis Medical Centre in Sale, VIC. This part‑time role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our medical practice, ensuring accurate reporting and effective cost control. As the Finance Manager, you will play a key strategic role in supporting the practice’s objectives and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day financial management of the practice, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team
- Manage the practice’s cash flow and liquidity, ensuring efficient working capital management
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance with all financial and tax obligations
- Implement financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency
- Provide financial guidance and support to the practice managers and clinicians
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the practice’s strategic financial plans Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficient in the use of financial management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
