**Job Description**: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Butcher. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the art of butchery and contribute to the successful operation of our renowned butcher shop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Gippsland Butchers Block team to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of all aspects of butchery operations.
- Assist in both commercial and retail butchery, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Receive training in customer service to provide exceptional assistance and support to our valued customers.
- Follow meat recipes accurately during meat preparation to maintain product quality and taste.
- Undertake general duties assigned by the manager to contribute to the smooth functioning of the shop.
- Cut, trim, and shape standard cuts of meat to the required specifications.
- Learn to assemble and operate various butchery machinery, including mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming machines, or sausage forming machines.
