Climbing Arborist (Stratford)

Advanced Vegetation Management (AVM) is a well-established arboriculture and vegetation management company based in Cairns. We are seeking a Experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team due to ongoing work demand. This role suits someone who values safety, quality workmanship, and consistent standards. Responsibilities
- Tree climbing, pruning, removals and general arboriculture works
- Operate and maintain equipment including EWPs, chippers and stump grinders
- Undertake tree health and structural assessments as required
- Work effectively within a team across climbing and ground operations
- Follow WHS procedures, risk assessments and site safety requirements Requirements
- Certificate III in Arboriculture (minimum)
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Experience operating stump grinders and chippers
- Competency in climbing and ground operations
- Current EWP ticket/certification
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s licence required (truck licence preferred)
- Strong safety mindset and reliability What We Offer
