Civil Engineering Technician (Salisbury South)

About the Role We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support our civil works projects through site measurements, materials testing, technical documentation, and the review of project records and engineering information. This role will help D&V; Services maintain quality standards, support site operations, and achieve project goals. Key Responsibilities Assist with technical work on civil projects, including earthworks, excavation, site clearing, site remediation, underground infrastructure and road upgrade works. Carry out site measurements, record project data, and update construction information in line with drawings, technical documents and project requirements. Check that site works are consistent with drawings, dimensions and technical requirements, and maintain relevant technical records. Record the use of major construction materials and organise test results and construction records. Compile engineering data, material records, test results and quality documents, and maintain project technical files. Monitor drawing revisions, project variations and updates to technical documents to keep project records clear and current. Prepare documents required for testing, inspection and project records management, including records relating to concealed works inspections. Key Requirements A Diploma or higher qualification. At least 2 years of highly relevant work experience in civil engineering or a closely related field. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately. Sound awareness of safety and quality standards. Able to work well in a team and keep work organised. Why Join Us?
