**About the Role**: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing Systems Support Officer to join our Corporate Services division. Reporting to the Workplace Health & Safety Lead, this role provides high-level administrative and project support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W;) team. You’ll play a key role in coordinating safety documentation, communications, events, and initiatives across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and enhancing OHSMS documentation and safety records
- Administering the incident reporting system and supporting staff access
- Coordinating WHS Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Collating and presenting data in visual reports using tools like Power BI
- Supporting WorkCover and Return to Work processes, including financial transactions and insurance renewals
- Assisting in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and events, including logistics and reporting
**Key Selection Criteria**: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Strong administrative and coordination skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally across all levels
- Experience in customer-centric support and service delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn systems such as Power BI, Copilot, and HSI DoneSafe
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and contribute to a team environment
- Cert IV in OHS or working towards (advantageous)
**Mandatory pre-employment requirements**:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
