Female Disability Support Worker (Ndis) - Sandringham Vic

**Location**: Sandringham, VIC 3191

**Job Type**: Casual (15-20 hours per week)

**About the Role**: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable **female Disability Support Worker** to support a 50 year old male participant living independently in Sandringham. The participant requires assistance to maintain daily living due to **chronic health conditions and mental health support needs**.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, flexible, and able to provide consistent support while adapting to fluctuating daily capacity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Domestic assistance including light cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
- Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and pharmacy pick-ups
- Transport to medical and allied health appointments (using your own vehicle)
- Gentle prompting with daily routines and medication compliance
- Supporting community access and social participation when appropriate

**About You**:

- Female support worker
- Calm, patient, and understanding approach
- Flexible and non-confrontational communication style
- Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating physical and emotional needs

**Essential Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Own Car
- Current driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Relevant qualifications (Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar preferred)
