B & E Foods, a leading wholesale company in the food industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receivables and Risk Controller to join our finance team. This role plays a crucial part in the effective management of our receivables and minimizing financial risk within the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit control, and collections.
- Proactively identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues to maintain a smooth payment process.
- Monitor customer credit limits, perform credit checks, and analyze creditworthiness to minimize financial risks.
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular analysis of receivable data to identify trends, assess credit risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any financial issues.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on receivables performance, cash flow, and risk management for senior management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Receivables or Credit Controller in a wholesale or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
