From lighting local sports fields to enabling major economic activity, the impact of what we do is both immediate and far-reaching. We are at the forefront of Australia’s energy transformation. As a trusted second‑line partner, you’ll help build executive confidence while enabling teams to deliver efficiently within clear, practical controls. About You You’re an experienced governance and risk professional who thrives in complex Technology environments. You bring a pragmatic, collaborative approach and enjoy working with senior stakeholders to make risk and compliance work in practice. You’ll Ideally Have
- A tertiary qualification in IT, Risk, Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in Technology or digital GRC roles, ideally within large or regulated organisations
- Strong knowledge of Technology risks, including cyber, data, third‑party, and delivery risks
- Hands‑on experience setting up or assuring governance and control frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISO)
- Experience supporting audits, including evidence management and remediation tracking
- The ability to translate regulatory requirements into transparent, workable Technology controls
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders This is a chance to play a meaningful role in Australia’s energy future, working in a purpose‑driven organisation alongside industry leaders on nationally significant infrastructure projects. Recognition & Reward We believe in providing our people personal, professional and social benefits so that they can deliver their best work each and every day. Employees have access to a range of corporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, health & wellbeing etc, as well as novated leasing options, workplace flexibility, 20 weeks paid parental leave and more. Regardless of where you are in your professional journey, Transgrid powers your career by providing access to regular and on‑going training, workplace mentoring and tertiary education. At Transgrid, you are encouraged to build a career that is right for you. Our Leadership Principles At Transgrid, our Leadership Principles—Courage, Care, Clarity, and Connection—form the foundation of how we lead. Courage means embracing challenges and doing what’s right.
