Senior Accountant- Public Practice (Blacktown)

Senior Accountant – Public Practice Salary package between $105K–$110K (commensurate with experience). Newly created role in a dynamic, fast‑growing boutique accounting firm in Western Sydney. - Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs.
- Prepare and review tax returns, BAS, FBT, payroll tax and reconciliations.
- Mentor junior staff and review their work, including assisting in bookkeeping and payroll.
- Lead client meetings and provide practical tax advice.
- Stay up to date with tax legislation and research complex tax issues.
- Use Xero, MYOB AE, Tax Assist, Adobe Sign and Microsoft Office tools efficiently. You’ll Bring
- Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) and CPA/CA/NIA qualification (highly regarded).
- 7+ years of public practice experience in a senior or intermediate role.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Clear communication skills with clients.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and manage own workload and budgets.
- Experience preparing high‑quality work with attention to detail.
- Advanced skills using Xero, MYOB AE, Adobe Sign and Excel. You’ll Stand Out If You Also Have
