Spanning approximately 15 acres, Glengollan has 147 independent living units, as well as a 90 bed residential aged care facility. The facility is close to Ferntree Gully and Boronia Railway Stations and has bus stops directly outside the property. About the role Reporting to the Registered Nurse on duty you will be responsible for:
- Promoting resident independence, dignity, and choice
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and health professionals
- Ensuring care is person‑centred and delivered to a high standard and in line with care plans.
- Ensuring all documentation and work logs are fully completed to a high standard.
- Contributing to the dementia care philosophy
- Working collaboratively with the team Requirements
- Recent experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
- Solid clinical skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- A caring, responsible nature and the ability to provide the highest quality of care to our residents
