Overview Help at Hand Support Services is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to provide a person-centred approach to individuals with a disability. Work varies daily, including outings to the beach, movies, games, medical appointments, and companionship at home. Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support tailored to the client’s needs.
- Assist with outings and community activities such as beach trips, movies, and games.
- Attend medical appointments and accompany clients at home. Qualifications
- Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle.
- International police check (if applicable) or current police check (within 6 months).
- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent experience.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- First aid/CPR certificates (current).
- Full and clean Australian driver’s licence.
- Be punctual.
- Be reliable and versatile.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Empathetic and proactive with a genuine interest to work in this field.
- The ability to self-supervise and remain calm at times of crisis.
- Right to live and work in Australia. Work Remotely No. Job Type Casual. Salary $32.56 – $41.00 per hour. Schedule
