Assistant Service & Repair Technician - Poly Fusion Welding …, Seaford

FHS Poly is looking for an enthusiastic team player in a full-time role at our Victorian, Seaford facility, assisting and reporting to the Lead Service & Repairs Technician.

Located in Seaford, Victoria, **FHS Poly** are one of Australia’s leading suppliers to construction and infrastructure projects of bespoke poly fabrications, poly pipe & fittings and plastic welding equipment for the Plumbing, Civil, Gas, Water, Aquaculture, Industrial, Mining sectors, and more, since 1994.

At FHS Poly we:stock and sell poly pipes and fittings to the general market
- import and resell poly welding equipment including butt welding, electrofusion, extrusion and socket welding, along with all associated tooling
- manufacture plastic fabrications in house from sheet and pipe material
- manufacture extruded weldrod in house
- service welding equipment and provide spare parts for plastic welding equipment
- hire plastic welding equipment and tooling
- provide training in plastic welding competency-based skills

With recent increases in demand, FHS Poly is now expanding their team and are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic techniciansat our Seaford facility in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

- Service and Repair of poly welding equipment, including brands such as Munsch, Forsthoff, Riyang, Omisa and Caldertech
- Quality checks
- Test and Tag electrical equipment

General Role and Responsibilities:

- Service and Repair of poly welding equipment
- Service and Repair of poly welding tooling
- Clean, test and presentation of hire equipment
- General maintenance of FHS equipment
- Other duties as requested by management when required
- Advise management of potential safety, quality or production issues as soon as noticed
- Assist wider team where necessary and fill in if needed to cover other roles in staff absence
- Maintain a cheerful and respectful demeaner with others at all times

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Trade background in electrical / hydraulic machinery maintenance
- Test & Tag ticket
- Three (3) of experience
- Exceptional customer service skills, can-do attitude, good communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- Computer operation experience (for internal CRM use)

Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- First-aid certification

Pay: $25.00
