Playground Maintenance Person - Playgrounds and (Carrum Downs)

Play-Safe Services is based in Carrum Downs, Victoria (south eastern suburbs). We specialise in maintenance and installation of sports and playground equipment with schools and councils. We are expanding our servicing/maintenance team and are looking to hire suitable members to join us. Would suit someone who likes working outside and diversity in their job each day.

- $35 per hour (pending experience/qualifications) + Superannuation

- Solid experience in general maintenance works
- Self motivated

- Able to manage the physical aspects of working with playground and sports equipment

Would suit someone who has worked in a landscaping or general maintenance/handyperson role, on the tools and can work with other trades on small or large projects.

Core objectives include:

- Leading and directing installation, refurbishment and servicing work (playgrounds/sporting equipment)
- on and off site
- General landscaping including concreting, turfing (synthetic and rubber), retaining walls, mulching, planting
- Shade sail installation work
- Light tool work ie drills, angle grinders, routers
- Mentoring/training of junior staff
- Contributing to the successful achievement of servicing stream targets and goals
- NB: Specific job type training will be provided but must have solid 3+ years in general maintenance or equivalent work

Skills within the fields of landscaping, carpentry, equipment assembly and concreting advantageous.

Essential requirements;
- Working with Children's Card (or ability to have one organised prior to commencement)
- Current full drivers license
- Transferrable skills work experience 3 years

Preferred requirements;
- Skid Steer (mini digger) experience
- Working at Heights
- Fork Lift License
