Full Time, Field Based Technician responsible for servicing and repairing material handling equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and customer support across a dedicated territory. What You Will Do
- Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base, contributing to positive customer experiences.
- Utilise latest field‑based mobile technology to manage daily work schedule.
- Enter inventory data for the Company‑allocated service van and customer sites, ensuring a professional level of service.
- Gain experience with Australia's top tier customer base.
- Perform routine maintenance and complete service work – both reactive and planned.
- Accurately maintain important service records of work performed.
- Conduct customer‑focused scheduled and breakdown services.
- Assist in preparing field‑based quotes for customers by completing jobs.
- Record notes and file service records appropriately, providing high‑level customer service.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge on emerging technologies, automation and telematics.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new products and services.
- Partner with the Company to maximise additional sales and service across the dedicated customer base. Requirements
- Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential.
- Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
