Your role will play a significant part in the company’s growth and overall success by delivering quality service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks. Job Summary
- Full Time Field Based Role
- Looking for experienced or qualified technicians What you will do
- Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base – help Crown build positive customer experiences
- Use latest field‑based mobile technology to manage your daily work schedule
- Inventory input on your company‑allocated service van & customer sites – deliver a professional level of service
- Gain experience dealing with Australia’s top tier customer base
- Join the leading forklift service business in Australia – the largest provider in the country
- Participate in an initial 8‑week onboarding and industry‑leading training program
- Perform routine maintenance and complete service work – reactive & planned
- Accurately maintain significant service records of work performed Typical Crown Technician Tasks and Duties
- Conduct customer‑focused scheduled and ‘breakdown’ services
- Assist in the preparation of field‑based quotes for customers through job completion
- Record notes and file service records appropriately – provide high‑level customer service to help customers solve their material handling needs
- Access industry‑leading training and development and grade progression opportunities, including potential to train less experienced technicians
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics
- Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, new products and services
- Partner with the Company and maximise additional sales and service across a dedicated customer base Qualifications
- Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential
- Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills Benefits
