About the Role
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for a service based in Peterhead. The role involves supporting a young adult with a range of care needs, attending to personal care, promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle, and working closely with the Service Leader and the staff team.

Responsibilities
Provide 2:1 support and personal care to the young adult, ensuring daily needs are met.
Promote a positive, active, and healthy lifestyle, encouraging participation in swimming, bowling, walks, leisure activities and social visits.
Respond to and manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.
Work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends and occasional overnight shifts (e.g., 8:30‑3:00, 3:00‑10:00, overnight sleep‑and‑wake coverage).
Maintain clear and accurate records, use basic IT systems for reporting and communication.
Collaborate closely with the Service Leader, colleagues and external partners to deliver high‑quality care.
Follow health and safety policies, accept training, and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Carry out tasks with honesty, reliability and respect for the person’s home and environment.
Qualifications
Passionate and motivated to enhance the life of a person with complex care needs.
Experience caring for adults with challenging or behavioural needs.
Valuable communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and communications.
Flexible availability to work a variable shift pattern including weekends and overnight periods.
Female candidate required for this specific role (legally justified occupational requirement).
