Working alongside experienced professionals and mentors you will gain a nationally recognised qualification (Cert III Arboriculture or Cert III Civil Construction), valuable workplace experience, ongoing support, and a “foot in the door” to a rewarding career in Local Government!

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Learn to use a variety of hand tools, equipment and machinery required for maintenance tasks associated with the duties of the position
- Actively participate in own learning and development, including completion of all training as agreed with the Registered Training Provider
- General civil construction or arboriculture, and labouring duties
- Completion of daily documentation as required
- Interact with members of the public in a friendly and polite manner

These are apprenticeship positions which have a starting salary of $59,187 through to $78,916 (final year), per annum plus super.
