Exeter General Store is a bustling community hub and destination cafe in the beautiful village of Exeter in the Southern Highlands. We are passionate about serving consistently delicious coffee and meals, paired with authentic friendly service from our team.
We offer team members an organised and positive place to work, in our recently refurbished cafe. You will be joining a well-established, friendly and supportive team environment and be able to develop long-term relationships with a community of regular customers.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team and provide our customers with a great cafe experience. We are able to accommodate full time, part-time or casual, with flexibility in hours per week depending on your needs. Rosters are consistent and published well in-advance.
Barista / All-rounder
We have positions for both experienced and new baristas & all-rounders across our 7-day operation. As a barista, you will focus on making high quality coffees, and in conjunction with other team members, serve customers at the POS and tables. Specialty barista experience will be well regarded but is not essential. Comprehensive structured training will be provided, with ongoing coaching from skilled and experienced baristas and waiters. There is also the chance to train in our Licensed Post Office, which operates as part of the store. May suit either a recent school leaver looking to make a start or an experienced person looking to make their next move in hospitality. Either way we will provide you with plenty of training and opportunities to grow. As a hospitality role, some weekend availability is needed but there is flexibility on hours and days. Shifts start no earlier than 7am and finish no later than 4pm (typically 3.30pm).
We also have a chef/cook role available._
