About the Role We’re looking for a Junior Instrument Service Technician to join our growing team. This is an ideal prospect for someone early in their technical career who’s keen to learn, develop specialist skills, and build a long‑term career in instrument calibration. Based in our climate‑controlled calibration laboratory in Adelaide, you’ll work under the guidance of an experienced Senior Instrument Service Technician. Through structured on‑the‑job training, you’ll learn how to service, test, repair, and calibrate a wide range of instruments used in the blasting and protective coatings industry. This is a hands‑on, practical role with strong development pathways for the right person. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with calibration, testing, and certification of instruments to applicable Australian and international standards
- Service, repair, and troubleshoot instruments, progressing towards independent work
- Prepare accurate calibration certificates, records, and instrument registers
- Receive, log, and track customer instruments through the service workflow
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant laboratory environment
- Assist customers with basic enquiries and status updates by phone or email
- Support warehouse activities including pick, pack, and dispatch
- Perform local pickup and delivery of instruments when required
