Customer Service Officer | Government Business Systems Port Adelaide, SA ASO3 Equivalent 2 x Contract Roles Available – ASAP start to July 2026 / November 2026 The Prospect A major State Government shared services provider is seeking two proactive Customer Service Officers to join a rapid‑paced Service Desk Team in Port Adelaide. These roles are at the frontline of business systems support, ensuring government users have the access and technical guidance they need to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll provide high‑quality customer service to users via granting accesses and resolving functionality issues for a suite of computer applications across different government branches. Supporting tenders and contracts and the Purchase Card Expense Management System (EMS) and ANZ Transactive.
- Front‑line Support: Providing high‑quality customer service via phone and email.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Resolving functionality issues for key applications (including Basware, CHRIS21, HR21, and Masterpiece).
- Access Management: Processing user access requests and supporting systems like the Purchase Card Expense Management System (EMS) and ANZ Transactive.
- System Integrity: Translating critical information into database software with high accuracy.
- Collaboration: Working within a supportive team to meet daily targets and strict deadlines.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) Key Requirements
- A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- Experience in customer service (call centre).
- Experience within Accounts Payable or Receivable processes.
- Previous experience with CHRIS21 and Basware.
- A professional phone manner and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining attention to detail.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with an ability to adapt quickly to current software. Apply Now!
