Accounting Manager (City of Port Adelaide Enfield)

- Manage all finance, accounting & tax matters.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and other support documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Financial Controller and the Accounting in managing all accounting, including mainly accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and collaborate with auditors during the audit process.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to project future cash needs.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimise cash flow.
- Utilise financial software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in training and developing staff members. Requirements / Qualifications
- Candidates with prior management experience are preferred.
- ACCA qualification is not mandatory; however, being fully ACCA qualified is a robust advantage.
