About the opportunity Shellharbour City Council is looking for a recent or soon‑to‑be graduate who has completed or will complete a Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher within the next six months, preferably in civil engineering or a closely related field. Responsibilities Assist with the delivery of Council’s floodplain management program and provide professional technical advice relating to flooding and stormwater engineering. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher, completed or near completion (within 6 months).
- Interest and knowledge in floodplain and stormwater engineering.
- Basic understanding of project delivery stages (define, design, construct, commissioning).
- Current driver’s licence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Benefits

- Full time, 35 hours per week with flexi‑time.
- Commencing salary range from $75,356 to $89,831 per annum (based on qualification status).
