Right now, we’re looking for a Diploma Educator to join Shellharbour Early Learning and Care. The experienced team of educators and teachers care for children aged 0‑5 in engaging, exciting, and thought‑provoking environments that include a main outdoor area, additional indoor and outdoor spaces, and age‑appropriate rooms with diverse learning experiences.

The early learning space also has great access to the Local Community Garden to further extend children's learning.

Job Details

Permanent, Full Time 38 hours per week Monday to Friday @ 7.6 hours per day

Responsibilities

Providing quality education and care to all children. Contributing to planning educational programs that support a child’s learning to meet their goals. Building robust relationships with children, families, and the community.

Safeguarding Requirements

A cleared valid for paid work, NSW working with Children’s Check (WWCC). A cleared National Criminal Record Check. Demonstrated commitment to protecting all children from abuse, harm and neglect. Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course. Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
