About the opportunity

Shellharbour City Council is looking for a recent or soon‑to‑be graduate who has completed or will complete a Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher within the next six months, preferably in civil engineering or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of Council’s floodplain management program and provide qualified technical advice relating to flooding and stormwater engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher, completed or near completion (within 6 months).

Interest and knowledge in floodplain and stormwater engineering.

Basic understanding of project delivery stages (define, design, construct, commissioning).

Current driver’s licence.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Benefits

Full time, 35 hours per week with flexi‑time.

Commencing salary range from $75,356 to $89,831 per annum (based on qualification status).
